Cancelling, step by step
You cancel through a quick chat, which you can open from your main menu.
- Open your main menu and go to Help & Support, then Contact us.
- Tap the chat bubble in the bottom right corner to open a chat.
- Choose VIP Membership.
- Choose I want to amend my subscription.
- Choose I want to cancel my subscription, and follow the steps from there.
Does my membership renew automatically?
That depends on the package you chose.
If you're on a weekly, monthly, 3-month or 6-month plan, it will carry on renewing at the same price until you cancel it. A 12-month plan doesn't renew on its own. For the details of your own package, including your next renewal date, go to Settings and then Membership in your main menu.
Tip: check your renewal date in Settings > Membership before you cancel, so you know when your current package ends.
What happens if I go back to a free account?
You can keep using Plenty More Fish for free.
As a free member, there are limits on who you can message and how often, and on how many matches you get each day. You can still browse members, make matches, take part in polls and competitions, read articles, see posts from other members, and join in with Spaces and chat rooms.
